PANDICULATION 2019 - 2020

As my bachelor project, a fellow student and I made the award-winning short, PANDICULATION. It was produced at Volda university college and has since its release been accepted to over 15 different animation festivals around the world. It won the jury’s special price at “the Big Cartoon Festival” in Moscow, the biggest animation festival in Russia, and it won the prize for “best Norwegian animated film” at Reanima in Bergen. The film has also been nominated at Animafest Zagreb and is being screened at the Annecy festival. During production, I worked as Head of Story and character design.

Volda University College

2017 - 2020

At Volda I took a Bachelor’s degree in animation. There, I was introduced to all the fundamental aspects of the animation pipeline. We had courses in traditional 2D animation, digital 2D animation, analog, and digital cut-out, 3D, and stop-motion. We also learned about story development, designing characters, and much more. Of all the things we taught, I’ve focused on developing my storytelling skills, specifically within the pre-production stage. This is my passion, and where I shine the most.

Design School Kolding

2020 - 2020

I started a Bachelor’s degree in industrial design at Design School Kolding after the summer of 2020. Due to the pandemic, I ended up moving back to Norway, and rather focus on a career in the animation industry. During my time in Denmark, I learned about general design theory, technical drawing, and foundational principles such as perspective and composition.
